The initiative of excellence University of Lille proposes an instrument to boost the submission of ERC projects by our scientific community.
Who can submit?
The call is open to researchers of University of Lille and its partners[1], even if they have previously submitted a project to the ERC program. The call is open to the applicants of Starting, Consolidator and Advanced grant, but not to Synergy grant who can apply to MRSEI (ANR).[2]
All scientific fields are eligible to this call.
Goal:
Provide researchers with the appropriate scientific environment to improve their ERC application. The applicants will have to submit their ERC proposal within 2 years following the grant attribution.
Winners will be required to attend information and training sessions organised by the University of Lille and partner institutions.
Allocated resources:
The researcher will beneficiate a minimum of 18 months of post-doctoral position (max 24 months). In addition, it will be attributed 20 000€ to support the project development.
The maximum grant is 110 000€.
The project duration is 24 months.
Selection Process:
- The application will have to be approved by the head of laboratory.
- Proposals will be reviewed and ranked by external reviewers.
- The selection will be made by a jury composed of : the hub’s coordinators, the VP Initiative of Excellence, the VP Research, the Graduate programs Coordinator, and an external president.
